Gunung Tahan - Mission Accomplished!

Mood-O-Meter : I feel invincible!
On The Jukebox : 10,000 Meilen - Xavier Naidoo (some German dude)
Blog Snack : Mangoes mum cut out for me (She's such a sweetheart!)

Ahoy maties! Apologies for putting my blog updates on hold. Is it just me that's experiencing problems blogging lately? been trying for the past two weeks. Anyways, Jakun is back, alive and kicking, survived the perils of my recent Gunung Tahan Expedition.

Having scaled Gunung Kinabalu last year, compared to Gunung Tahan, as my bud Ulrich says, "Kinabalu is for kinder (kids, in German)". Carrying 30kg of food rations for 4 days, a tent, sleeping bags, clothes, equipments and being a part time porter for some other the others, its like carrying your home on your back! God damn, I swear my spine was snapping! Anyways, the whole group made it, a shout out to these awesome individuals:

1. Andrew "Pope Benedict the 17th" De Souza - We can always count on you for a laugh!
2. Chee Kin - Steady as a durian tree la you...
3. Idayu - Female Tarzan.
4. Seri - Amazing spirit and will throughout the expedition
5. CC Hoh - Your cheerfulness definitely kept the group going..
6. SS Ng - You one power chilli padi...
7. Ulrich "Botak" Schumb - We bulldozed through the forest mannn...

Was pondering on my next daredevil stunt. Got 3 options on my list: 1) Scuba diving, 2) Sky diving, 3) Bungee jumping (Will save this for my trip to visit Em in Australia la). Definitely gonna do all 3 before I get too old for such shit though. Lol.
