The end of my EM Adventure, on with my BP Experience

Mood-O-Meter : Excited as hell!
On The Jukebox : Some malay songs I got from Rosli's PC
Blog Snack : Zilch

Friday 29th July 2005 marks the end of my adventure with Elektrisola Malaysia. It has been an awesome 2.5 years working there. Never did know I will be missed that much till my last day. Phoneline was flooded with calls from colleagues wishing me 'Adios' (one even came from our China plant, EH!). Had two farewell parties too, stuffed myself senseless with goodies, my tummy's still a bit messed up. I would expect my last two weeks at EM to be chill as hell, but ended up powerpacked with last minute meetings my MD wanted while I was there, automating systems so that colleagues can make runs while I am not around, and also training a new planner, Su San. I am sure she can step up to the job, she's got the goods to perform.

Swiped out for the last time at 7 pm as an EM employee. I will be showing up in Klang on Monday as a BP Bloke. I am really excited about this BP job thingy. The sheer fact that I am moving on to a new job, outta my comfort zone sends jolts of excitement down my spine. Definitely I would be making the most of my BP experience, busting my butt off like my life counts on it! Of course, I gotta chart out my direction in the organization. More on that in future blogs. Stay tuned!

Recently acquired a new car. Dad decided to be an asshole one day and told me to start paying for a car. After spending sometime deliberating, I guess it is fair. Since I got back I did not have to be bogged down by car loans and housing loans. Now that I have a decent paying job, it is high time I get my own car. Settled for a Waja (with manual transmission... sweeeeeettt!). I'll post a pic of my new toy the next time I blog yeah. More fuel economical, more fun to drive, looks a hell lot cooler than the CRV I was driving, what more can I ask for right? Yeah, it is Buatan Malaysia, but this bugger is a good drive.

Stay tuned, my Jakunites. I will share with all of you my BP Experience in my next blog. Over and out.
