Goodbye 2005, Hello 2006... Happy New Year!

Mood-O-Meter : Nostalgic
On The Jukebox : Sweet clunking sounds of Masterfill Line 7 cranking out bottles of Magnetec engine oil
Blog Snack : "Fresh and clean" Klang Air

Alas, Christmas is over. But somehow, I do not seem to have the Christmas Spirit waiting to burst outta me everytime we get to this time of the year. Is it just me, or does everyone feels the same way? What do you feel about the occasion anyways? To me, Christmas mean's that the new year is near, 7 days till New Year's Day. Lol.

Well, I am actually kinda relieved that the year is coming to an end. A rough 2005 indeedy for those in needy! We had to kick it off with the aftermath of the Tsunami tragedy, followed by earthquakes in Pakistan, hurricane Katrina, bird flu, Professor Dumbledore got killed, etc. etc. etc. Despite positive outlooks from the economic stand point, all that economic prophecies turned out to be bull crap. With all this shit that we have been through, what does the new year bring for us all? Or let's put it this way, what do we want to achieve for 2006, and how are we going to do it?

For me, career wise 2005 was a year of change, where I switched jobs. I guess 2006 will be more of a year of stability in the first half, and accelaration in the second. On a personal note, I've been doing a lot of reflecting, sometimes revisiting some life goals I have set for myself. It is one of those jiwang moments I have when I am too free (hence, blogging now when I am at work)! Yeah, realized that come 2006, I would be in my mid-20s! So what gives for everyone else in the new year 2006?

Merry X'mas !!!

Mood-O-Meter : Stoned weyyyy

Ahhh... It has been a hectic month indeed for yours truly... And now I can finally put up my legs and chill a little bit. For a month I've been working over weekends, went for week long training to complete our 6 Sigma Green Belt Training (call me Master Green Belt Terence... hahaha), planning for January's incoming demand, disaster recovery from work... It has all come to an end, everything smooth and steady now. Just in time when Wei Ming is back! All the while I've always believe that the whole Christmas thingy is a sham. But now that she is back, there IS something to be merry about this Christmas. Guess I've been a good boy, Santa granted my wish. ;)

In exactly two weeks time I'd be setting off on holiday with Wei Ming to China. Targeted spots to invade would be Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and maybe even Xi-An. Will be awesome if I get to meet up with my ex-Elektrisolan mates in Hangzhou. 11 days away from work, without any trace of worries, pigging out and chilling (literally) with me gurl... what more can I possibly ask for at the moment? It'll be rank #1 in Terence's Vacations Top Ten charts. It's gonna be a blast!

To everyone that celebrates Christmas, a Merry Christmas to you... and to those that do not, well.. errr... just be thankful we got a 3 day weekend lah! Over and out...
