Chill Baby, Just Chill

Mood-O-Meter : Chill baby, just chill
On The Jukebox : Shoppers walking past Starbucks, frappucino blenders
Blog Snack : Starbucks Rhumba Frappucino

Been an eventful and tiring first half of my day. Dad woke me up 9am to go for Bak Kut Teh. Yea, I love pork, but to lose some sleep because I need to eat bak kut teh? I went anyways, good stuff it was. Dropped my dad for his golf game with his buds, and went shopping at Ikea with my mum and sis. I'm in this interior decorating phase now, where I am just gatal to 'enhance' my room with some book shelves, and shit like that. Ended up with RM300+ worth of purchases for my apartment in KL and da jungle, Em stashed in a coupla her stuff as well. Now I gotta think of a way to fit all that shit in the car, and assemble my purchases when I get back.

And now here I am chilling at Starbucks, sipping on my Frappucino, surfing the net with my tiny lappie. I'm just in a chill mood this weekend. It has been rough and tiring week for me at work again. Just when you think that only the most impossible, dumbest things that could happen at work, IT HAPPENS. Jezus, there are such fucked up people that exist in the world. Anyways, bygones coz it's the weekend, and I'm chill. Putting all my worries from work behind me, I am just gonna enjoy my weekend, relax and then get back to the warzone on Monday. I guess that's the life the majority of working class people will lead. Oh well, a life ain't a life without challenges and struggles. It makes things more interesting for us I guess. Yea, sure we get sick and tired once in a while, but that's life. We gotta bite the bullet, grab the bull by its horns. The show has to go on.

A shout out to WM, who has been getting crap throughout her springbreak. Hang in there, you tough babez. HUGZ...

Fucque Incompetence!

Mood-O-Meter : Dismay and disappointment!
On The Jukebox : Take Me Away - Smallville OST
Blog Snack : Leftover CNY Cookies

If there is one thing that I absolutely despise in a person, it would be their incompetence. Not incompetent because he or she could not do it, but incompetent because he or she does not care. I guess this the 'tidak apa' or 'I don't care' kind of attitude that Malaysians generally have. This is a very disturbing trend, when Malaysian leaders are championing a culture towards excellence, but the public does not respond to the war cry. They just refuse to get their asses off and get to work thinking, "Buat apa susah-susah? Biar orang lain susah." A problem arises, and it is not their problem, it is someone elses, so they'd stay clear of it.

I have seen this phenomenon occurring at work. Two and a half years in the company and I am seeing more and more of this where colleagues shying away from responsibility (especially when the going gets tough). When it comes to good things, everyone gets into the spotlight. Ridiculous attitude! All they are concerned about is covering their asses in case they 'kena tonggeng' by the higher authorities. What happened to ethics and trust? Are there any traces of it anywhere?

This is why when I see people struggling with their lives and careers because they have the 'tidak apa' attitude, they do not get pity from me. Totally well deserved. Throughout the 24 years of my life, I have always believed that diligence, dedication and ambition will presevere over everything else. I will still continue to hold to this principles to achieve my goals.

Rough two weeks at work la, working with fucked up people 'tidak apa'. Bear with me a bit maties... Bitch fit attack...
