This is crap. I've been at work since 8am on a Saturday. Reason? Because of some lame ass work permit system my company just implemented. As long as there is some work going on in the factory, the area supervisor gotta be there to oversee it. Yeah, my packaging team is doing some renovation work, so I gotta be stuck here the whole day to make sure the contractors do not jackhammer someone's ass or electrocutes someone's balls.

Well, the good thing is I get one day annual leave as replacement. And I can use it for my Beijing Holiday with Wei Ming. Not bad huh. Will definitely post some pics of the trip. Stay tuned yeah. 11 day China trip, we plan to go to Beijing, Xi-an (terracota warrior place), Shanghai and Hangzhou. Perhaps I get to meet up with my ex-Elektrisolans. See how la. Whatever it is, we both gonna have a blast of a time. :)

Now I am feeling so stoned that I do not feel like going to the gym. For the sake of vanity, I think I'll still go. Hahahahhaha!!! Got Em a free one week trial pass to the gym. She seemed to be so darn impressed with the gym that she might think of joining! Heh heh. Try squeezing the old man for the membership fees, Em. ;) But she's the 'hangat-hangat tahi ayam' kind wan la. Gung ho for two weeks and then lose steam after that. Lol. We'll see.

Right after the DeepaRaya hols, I was sent for one whole bloody week of training on (drumroll please...) 6 Sigma Green Belt Training! Do I sense ke-confuse-an? Well, its basically a systematic (and fucking complex) approach to improve our processes, be it at Production, Sales Operations, even getting up in the morning! The whole idea is to standardize whatever we do, and finding easier solutions to achieve the same goals. Training was pretty good, can't wait to apply it to our operations.

Okay okay, I know I am starting to bore you laaaa... To pile on to the absolutely stoning training, back in Port Klang the bloody plant was in a mess! My handphone was like a hotline, receiving calls from everyone. And there is not much I could do, as I was far far away in Maxis Towers, KL. Gotta go back to Port Klang today (Saturday weiii) to settle some stuff here and there. Things should be back to normal next week. Whew! Now I could enjoy my weekend...

After work, headed straight to the gym and now I am chillin' at Starbucks over a large cuppa hot choco... Excellent shit... Gonna enjoy the weekend while I still can... Aaahhh... this is the closest to heaven I can possibly get at the moment...

Mum's coming over tomorrow, gotta take her around... One thing's for sure, massive makan time when the Eng Family unites! Fuck, there goes my workouts...

Holidays... Coming To An End

Alas, all things must come to an end... The much hyped up Deepa Raya holidays is finally going to come to an end... After a week of festivities with loved 'uns, everyone will be headed back to the city, back to the routine, hectic lifestyle, which includes myself... Planning to head back Saturday midnight to avoid the jam... I doubt there'd be anyone insane enough to have the same idea as I do (hopefully!)...

Past week has been torturous, morning PLUS evening sessions of tennis (yesterday hit the gym due to rain)... energy drained, skin burnt, mentally stoned due to lack of sleep... this is the best holiday ever! been helping out Mr. Lee to coach his fledgling tennis team... its awesome to see them brats scampering in the court making a nuisance of themselves... lol...

Next holiday destination gonna be further away than Ipoh... gonna head to MAINLAND CHINA... yeah, decided to go for a get away with Wei Ming to Beijing during her winterbreak... Can't wait (betcha can't wait too rite, babez?).. Gotta book tickets and apply for visa these two weeks though... oh yeah, and to brush up on my mandarin.... cai jien...

Holidays

Ahhh... one good thing about working in Malaysia is that you get all kinds of public holidays. King's birthday, holiday. King died, holiday. Religious occasions, holiday. New year, (be it Muslim, Chinese or Gregorian calendar), holiday. Man, I love this shit! Of course its interesting to see how all this culture rojak could be blended and harmonized in this country, but heck I just want a holiday.

This time, its a combo public holiday of Deepavali and Hari Raya. Who the hell came out with DeepaRaya anyway? Corny, I'd have to say. Gonna be off work from Tuesday 1st November to Sunday 6th November. Woke up at 5.15 am to start from KL at 6am with Mum today. As usual, during these kinda festivities traffic is a bitch. Just gonna chill lots in Ipoh, play tennis with the kids, and lots of TV. Anyone back in Ipoh for the hols? Perhaps we can go out "Lim Teh".

Speaking of which, here I am now trying to stay awake till 2.30am for the Manchester United vs Lille Champions League match. As hardcore a Red Devil fan I am la, but they have been playing like a bunch of sissies lately. It will be interesting to see if they can pull themselves outta the slumps this season.

Jakun signing out now. Watching the Paris Masters on TV. God, tomorrow gotta hit the courts at 9am. Oh well, its the holidays anyways.
